This is one of my favorite songs by John Reuben, who’s real last name is actually Zappin, how cool is that. Overall this song has so many good lyrics to live by, and I urge you to read all of them. The ideas are plainly put in this song, so I won’t complicate what is so simply laid out.
Having the right perspective on life and what it is all about is so very important. By doing this, in the end, even though life may be short, we may be able to make it what we want and not waste the days we have been given.
If there is a daily truth which would change our lives if we lived with it in mind, it would be remembering that life is short. So many times we make decisions based on the assumption that we can fit it in somewhere else along the way. But in the end we don’t know how long we are going to live, and even if you do live to be 100, you still can miss out on living life. Living life is not based on the number of years you lived, but on what you do with every single moment that makes up those years. Life is short, make it want you want.
