These few lines of this song are some of my all-time favorite. The greatest of things in life are found in the unknown. If we long for these things, we need to realize that we must leave home, our place of comfort, if we truly want to find what we long to discover. The road to the unknown is not a short and easy road filled with success at every turn, but that doesn’t mean that it is the wrong road, it may just mean it is the right road.
Along every road traveled in life we must always persevere, and persevere at all costs. We must never let darkness block the light of the certain hope which can be found in each day. Everyday, with eyes wide open and the path before you, don’t look back. Even if you are moving headstrong into the storm, that might be just where you need to be headed.
